Andre's Australian GP Preview

Hi all,

Well its fair to say, Tasmania was not the happy hunting ground we were hoping for after we were pulled into a few incidents not of our own doing and had a couple mechanical issues. However, if this sport teaches you anything its resilience.

The turnaround to get the car ready for the Melbourne 400 at the Formula One Australian Grand Prix has been hectic and all credit has to go to the team who do an amazing job between rounds.

We have four 100KM races across the four days at Albert Park, with qualifying for the first two races starting on Thursday afternoon. It's been a while since we've had the Formula One guys down under so I'm expecting it to be a great weekend full of as much entertainment off track as on it. Including waking up in the mornings to the beautiful sound of the 2 seater V10 F1 car cutting laps!

Our challenge this weekend is to really work together to get the car where we've shown we have the potential to be - right up the pointy end.

It will also be interesting to see the improvements to the track since the last time we raced there in 2020. Several corners have been removed, most notably creating one big long (and fast) back straight. The entire track has also been resurfaced. I've always enjoyed the Albert Park circuit and it's one where the BJR cars always tend to have some good results.

After the disappointment of Tassie we're going to be trying to stay out of other people's drama and hopefully get some clear air to walk away with some solid points and show what we're made of.

Thanks again for all of your continued support, André
